Vintage Halloween Style FirePlace Screen
I was asked about the source of the fireplace screen in the image at the top of this blog. It was made by Bruce over at HalloweenLanterns.com click here to go to the fireplace screen page. His work is worth every penny. He cuts everything by hand! I own 2 screens and 4 lanterns that hold a place of honor in my displays each year. He also has a full scan of the entire page of the Ladies Home Journal images I have been sharing with you in sections. Its under Treats.

I have been meaning to ask you where you got that! Thanks for sharing!
Cheers!
This is a magical place! Fun! Blessings and wishes, Amy
That was a pretty screen to begin with, and now the pieces look even more fetching on the wall.Love it! You have just helped me to fill some empty spaces.
I love this man's website. He is so talented. I know I could draw this but don't know that I could execute cutting it out. His 1919 Ladies Home Journal lay-out was absolutely delicious, so inspiring! Your screen is also perfection. He is hard to find now. Betty L.
Betty,
He is taking a break and stopped taking orders. Hit a bit of burnout. :o )
Your link to contact BRUCE at HALLOWEENLANTERNS.COM
no longer seems to be working.
Is there another link/website where I may contact him for a fireplace screen?
Thanks
Sadly he is not hand making the screens anymore.
