My velvet pumpkins are not this cheery. Darker colors on my sideboard mixed with faux mercury glass are more my style. Easy to follow tutorial here for making these velvet beauties. Great way to use up scraps or use thrift store velvet shirts.

Most of those colors just don't say 'pumpkin' to me. I can accept the green- that's usually what any pumpkins I grow look like! But pastel blue is just not autumn.
