Skeletal Hands
From grandinroad I bought the Set of Two Wall-mount Halloween Skeleton Hands. They looked like a good buy at $19 and they are very nice heavy hands. Right now they are sitting base down on my mantel holding a sphere. They will eventually become hat holders. The only down side is that one hand has to face up and one down based on the hanging method. Might need to drill a new space on the back since I'd like both facing palm up.

Those are very nice. Could you imagine a few of those holding candles?
WicKED,
I haven't tested the weight capacity yet. Small candle holders with votives would work. With young jumpy cats battery tea lights have been my go to light source this year. Stringing light strings between the hands held over headboard would be cool too.
Kind of off the subject but did you make the fireplace screen in your header photo or is that something you purchased? It looks very cool. I like the hands too. I wasn't sure what to use them for. Good idea.
Mark,
The screen was made by a very talented artist who is currently on hiatus from making screens and lanterns. His work is wonderful and if he gets back in the game be assured I will let you know.
I would love to use these year-round, in the weirdest places. Like maybe holding that extra roll of toilet paper in the guest bathroom!
Carol, that was exactly what I thought of first, too!
Very cool hands. They'd also make good kitchen towel holders.
Jewelry holders.
