Deepwood Victorian Mourning Exhibit

The second is a high tea featuring a lecture on Victorian mourning customs.

This is wonderful! The display looks amazing.
How lovely!
Best of luck on the exhibit...I wish I lived closed enough to attend!
What a beautiful collection! How do you display these at home? I'm into anything Victorian, so if I was around I'd be sure to attend this! The Victorian use of symbolism is fascinating.
Justine,
My collection is primarily paper ephemera. The hats and parasols usually stay boxed. 2 young cats so nothing can stay out in the open. Some of my pieces might go to the museum since they go so well pieces in the collection.
AWESOME!
This is stunning!
