For Moth Magic...the wall of Ikea Bookshelves

This takes up most of the south wall in my office. The 2 skinny sections have glass doors to keep dust off the display pieces. The top sections are separate book shelve toppers. This photo was from right after set up so it has changed a bit. The bottom shelf of the left cabinet holds ashes and photos of departed family and friends. 3 walls in this room are the color of fresh baked pumpkin pie. :o )

West Coast Haunters Convention day 2 and 3

Running Saturday and Sunday together. Bought an interesting Haunted Travel Guide from Spooks to Spirits. It comes with a CD you listen to while taking the driving tour of a city. She has just the one city right now and plans to add more. The weekend had more things that needed our attention so we were popping in an out of the convention. Nice turn out of vendors for a convention in only its second year. Great line up of classes including the prosthetic makeup class today. We didn't get to do much socializing and need to fix that next year.

West Coast Haunters Convention Day 1

Did not go as planned. My spouse locked his keys in the car and we didn't get to campus until 3:30. The convention is at the Oregon School for the deaf. This was the new dorm and haunted house make over last year featured on Extreme MakeOver Home Edition. Walked through the exhibiters hall and then off to grab dinner. Tonight we got to go through the Nightmare Factory with the lights on and could go behind the scenes. It was a great tour and the haunt looks wonderful. Tomorrow back for some classes and see if we run in to anyone else we know. We are without a haunted house to work at again this year so we asked a lot of questions about what was needed volunteer wise.
