Lovely Mantel Decor

The photo at the top of this blog is our old house and the mantel was deep enough for 5 foot 4 me to stretch out on! New house has a very small mantle so I was looking for new ideas. Oh...and its a gas fireplace so it sits a foot above the floor. Love the simple elegance of the tree branch painted black wrapped in lights. My crow collection would love it too. Must decide on a design soon.

The devil in the back row is my favorite. All of their names are on the back of the photo. Must have been quite a party!

Love this porch!

Classic Orange and Black

I have had some trouble buying the paper lanterns but Target now has them back in stock on the web site. The paper fans I ordered from partycity.com. They arrived today and they are gorgeous. Both items area made by Amscan and a search will bring up other suppliers. Filling my vaulted ceiling with paper lanterns this year.
