The amount of Halloween goodness this shop packs in to a tiny space is amazing. The black, white, and silver skeletal theme this year looks so elegant.

Pumpkin Patch
Powdery mildew was my nemesis this year. I still had 3 beautiful plants that produced 7 good size pumpkins. 2 are still green and getting bigger by the day. The vine traveled up hill so the green guys are near the top of the first photo. We have some hot weather tomorrow in the upper 90s. We plan to harvest the orange pumpkins this weekend. The vines have died back.
More photos of the garden and Halloween goodies can be found in the 2015 Halloween album on flickr. My posts are fewer this season and I hope to pick up the pace soon. In June I was in a car accident. Physical therapy twice a week is about to drop down to one day a week. Looking forward to more hours of Halloween time.

Tuesday Morning Halloween
Tuesday Morning stores have an eclectic mix of Halloween items. They normally stock crafting supplies. This includes Halloween ribbon, scrapbook paper, and stamps. Christmas was making an aggressive move to take over the shelves. My store still had a nice mix of table decor, figures, pumpkins, and lighting. Tiny little LED battery operated skull lights for $9.99 might need to come home with me. I can see them as a hair or hat decoration. Sadly, I didn't get a photo of the light strand.

Martha Stewart Halloween at JoAnn
On the hunt for a specific shade of grey fabric last week at several JoAnn Fabric stores. Noticed the Halloween selection varied considerably store to store. If the various store employees compare stories-the crazy lady in the big black and white hat, playing with all the Halloween goodies, must come up.

Halloween updates and plans
So many goodies in the stores right now. Pier One has several Day of the Dead pieces this year that are well done. Going to try and get more pics up this week.
The pumpkin patch is losing the battle to powdery mildew. My 10+ pound pumpkins are almost completely orange. Picking will probably be in 2 weeks. Earliest pumpkin harvest ever. Guess the super high temps were good for pumpkins.
We collected branches tonight from a major park cleaning project across the street. Mr. Old Fashion Halloween is going to build a scarecrow for me. We celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary this month. Still spooky after all of these years.
Plans have been made to go to Disneyland for Mickey's Halloween Party mid October. Still trying to come up with costumes that can be worn all over the park and on rides for 8 hours. Warm weather friendly is another requirement.

Halloween at Costco
Not pictured is a skeletal dog with glowing red eyes. There were 3 huge racks of mostly little girls costumes. A fairy princess explosion. No mega candy bags yet.
