The girls are thriving and I can't believe how much they have grown since we brought them home last month. They are sporting their new collars to celebrate turning 6 months. They have already started to trash the collars. They will help each other undo any clasp, buckle, or break away collar.

Saturday Cooking

Raining and dreary outside so it was a busy afternoon with Meatless Crockpot Enchiladas cooking in the crock and baking a batch of Baked Tofu Bites. I substitute brown sugar for syrup, red thai chili sauce for hot sauce, and low sodium soy or tamari to make it healthier.

Its a new year

The kittens are thriving and miss Ivy is keeping an eye out for trouble. Trouble of course would be her sister Fern. That little kitten who was so sick is now a terror. Its a challenge to keep her from plotting world domination. They will be 6 months old on the 25th. Applying to be a volunteer tour guide at three historic houses in my area this month. Need an excuse to make more Victorian gowns. Not required but how can I not dress for an 1894 home?
