A bit behind on decorating this year. Still adding things to the mantel. In 2010 I used the paper lanterns on the floor with lights running through them. We adopted the kittens later that year in December and Ivy is a wire chewing machine. This year I moved the lanterns up to the mantel and still enjoy the effect. Ivy luckily is not a jumper!

Looks wonderfully atmospheric. I think we'll be away on Halloween, so that's my excuse for not having decorated this year.
