Happy New Year

Haunted Mansion Disneyworld
Originally uploaded by dragonflydesignstudio

December was a SUPER busy month and I am ready for some down time. 25 years after our visit we finally returned to Disneyworld. They don't decorate this mansion with the Nightmare Before Christmas like Disneyland. There is a new Q line that is fabulous. A tomb of a captain that blows bubbles and books that glide in an out of a book case were 2 of my favorites. I am still uploading photos from our adventures including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. May 2012 bring you good health and happiness.

You know I am torn since I like the like the style of the Disneyland Haunted Mansion in Paris. Tokyo is also nice but its the pumpkins they put on the roofline that is really awesome. When hubby was designing a haunt for the college I gave him video from each Haunted Mansion for Christmas.

* Hello!

I am wondering if you can help solve an old mystery. Do you recognize this old paper Halloween skeleton:

It appeared inside a Halloween card in 1970, so the skeleton is probably only 3 or 4 inches in size. It looks like an pre-made die cut paper product. I suppose it could also be a sticker, or cut out by hand from a greeting card or some other source.

A similar die-cut skeleton was made by Dennison in the 60s:

I would love to hear if you recognize the skeleton, or if you think it resembles any other skeletons you have come across.
Thanks!
