Umbrella as Fireplace Screen

Umbrella as Fireplace Screen

Clever idea from the same magazine as yesterdays entry. Black umbrella with paper ears, nose, mouth, and whiskers. Flickering LED lights behind the eyes would look very dramatic! Thinking about using orange and black felt attached with velcro for a longer lasting Halloween prop and easy storage.

That is AMAZING! Seriously thinking of something like that for the house!!!

BTW - reading old posts (on my blog) and I would LOVE your VHS tapes if you still have them :)

Cheers!

Oh wow! I've seen this photo before, but I didn't realize that was an umbrella. Great idea.

That umbrella is awesome! Love it! I just got into vintage Halloween decorations and what not a few years ago. I love all the truly unique ways of decorating that folks have come up with. Thanks for sharing your stuff.

It is good to review these photos again! I'm thrilled that these are still in your archive. I too thought the umbrella idea was brilliant. Thank you so much for recording this Ladies Home Journal here on your blog! An exceptional peek into the past. Go Halloween!
