Halloween 2015

Halloween is back in stores! Pottery Barn has some wonderful offerings this year. Let the shopping begin!

We have had hot weather early this year. The only good thing about the heat is the pumpkin patch took off fast! One pumpkin plant was sneaky and is actually multi colored squash! I need to shoot some photos of the patch.

Pottery Barn and William Sonoma have incredible table ware this year. When did tablecloths get so expensive? We shop in the same places. Your blog helps me remember ALL of those places. Each year you're my go to blog for what's new. Good luck with your pumpkin patch this year. How can they not grow beautifully with so much love put in. Betty

I took some Halloween books out again from the library this month. I discovered something. In Phyllis Galembo's 2002 book, "Dressed for Thrills," a wonderful photo montage of old Halloween costumes from across the country.....the end papers of this book are exactly Pottery Barn's 2015 Witch Table runner. This orange witch on black background image is also featured on page 28 as a 1920's "roller printed" witch dress costume, manufacturer unknown. It is exactly the same image as Pottery Barn's beautiful linen witch table runner this year. Don't know who actually owns the image, if anyone, but I'm glad it's back! Betty
